About
The Central Arkansas Local Section is devoted to the strategic plan of the American Chemical Society and we are fully committed to embracing this plan within the state of Arkansas. Our long-term goal is to become Arkansas's leading provider and deliverer of chemistry-related information. Our programming intends to facilitate the career development of chemical professionals, improve the public's recognition and appreciation of the contributions of chemistry, expand our services to all of our members and prospective members working in all facets of chemistry, and encourage the participation of students and young chemists in the activities of the society.
